Dear Neighbor,<\/p>\n
Many people have asked me why I\u2019m running for State Representative. It\u2019s simple. I want to protect our neighborhoods from the corrupt south side politics of Mike Madigan, the Speaker of the Illinois House for nearly forty years.<\/p>\n
Our communities have always been represented by people who were independent from political power brokers. People that grew up here take pride in their neighborhoods and work hard to support their families.<\/p>\n
Speaker Madigan has handpicked a candidate to be our next State Representative. A candidate that is unqualified, that opposes redistricting reform and who will be funded with millions in campaign cash by Speaker Madigan and his culture of corruption.<\/p>\n
My pledge, if elected as your State Representative, is to keep Speaker Madigan from taking over our communities, raising our taxes and destroying our neighborhoods.<\/p>\n
We need to keep our families safe and make state government accountable to taxpayers. I will work hard to be the Independent voice we all need in Springfield.<\/p>\n
