Stephens Hosts Halloween Decoration Contest"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This October, State Representative Brad Stephens (R-Rosemont) is hosting a Halloween Decoration Contest. 20<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0District constituents are invited to take a photo of their outdoor or indoor decorations and submit them to Rep. Stephens\u2019 office to choose the winners.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhether you\u2019ve had the skeletons up since Labor Day or are getting started on the decorations, this is a great chance to compete in your community in a fun, spooky event this Halloween season,\u201d said Rep. Stephens. \u201cWe will have multiple categories to compete in and get in the spirit, or spirits! Best of luck!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The different categories to compete in are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Best Overall<\/li>\n<li>Best Pumpkin Carvings<\/li>\n<li>Best Inflatables and\/or Light Display<\/li>\n<li>Most Original<\/li>\n<li>Best Theme<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Winners for each category will win a gift card to an area restaurant<strong>.\u00a0<\/strong>Submissions are due by Friday, October 27<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0and winners will be announced on Halloween. Because this is a neighborhood competition, no gore or adult themes will be considered in this contest.
